Controller
StridR data is processed by Dan Fryde, the data controller. Contact: by email at contact@support-stridr.com.
This policy is a translation of the French version, which prevails in case of difference.
Data stored on our servers
Your account: email address, first name, username.
Your profile: sex, age, height, weight, activity level, goal, diets, calorie target, language, theme and notification settings. This information is used to calculate your needs and to generate your programme.
Your training programme, your streak (run of active weeks) and your friends list.
A backup of your workout history, your weights and your food log, so you can find them on another phone.
Usage counters for the scanner and the coach, and the end date of your subscription.
Your referral code, the account that invited you, the accounts you invited and the free months earned.
Data kept on your phone
Your phone also keeps a copy of your data so the app works offline. Reminders are notifications scheduled on the phone: no data is sent for them.
Scanner and AI coach
When you scan a plate, the (reduced) photo is sent to Google (Gemini) to be analysed, then discarded: we do not store it.
When you describe a meal in writing, the sentence is sent to Google (Gemini) to separate the foods and estimate the quantities, then discarded: we do not store it.
When you write to the coach, your latest messages and a summary of your data (profile, goal, programme, recent workouts, today’s food) are sent to Google (Gemini) to generate the answer. The conversation is not stored on our servers.
Do not send the coach information you do not wish to share.
Service providers
Supabase: database hosting and email sign-in.
Brevo: sending the emails containing your sign-in code.
Google (Gemini): analysis of plate photos and described meals, coach answers.
Open Food Facts: nutrition values of scanned products. Only the barcode is sent, without any data about you.
Apple, Google and RevenueCat: management of purchases and the subscription. RevenueCat receives your account ID, never your email.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union; these transfers are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent framework.
Why and for how long
This data is used only to run the app (performance of the contract). Your health data (weight, height, food) is used only with your explicit consent, given by ticking the acceptance box at sign-up, which expressly mentions it; you can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account.
It is kept as long as your account exists and erased when it is deleted. No data is sold or used for advertising.
Your rights
You can access your data, correct it (from your Profile), export it, object to its processing or erase it (Profile > Account > Delete my account).
To exercise these rights, contact us by email at contact@support-stridr.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr), or with the authority of your country.
